how we work

We are dedicated to design excellence, creativity and quality documentation.

Designing and then implementing the assumptions adopted in this project may prove to be a big challenge for you.

That is why we will support you at all investment stages – from functional decissions, through stylistic choices, orders, to supervision over the implementation of previously adopted design assumptions.

We aim to exceed your expectations and provide outstanding service throughout the project.

Before we start, get to know the next stages of the design and implementation process

The 5 most important steps to your goal:

1. Inventory

Inventory starts with the measurements of the interior areas relative to the design done by us.

The measurements include documenting the location of existing components of the space(s), such as the height of individual rooms, length and width of walls, arrangement of window and door openings, etc., and physical arrangement of individual installations such as electrical equipment, plumbing, central heating, ventilation, etc.

During the measurements, we will also prepare photographic and video documentation.

At this point, we ask you to provide us with as much information as possible, including architectural and construction documentation of the existing building.

2. Design Development

Simultaneous with the inventory work, we begin to target the stylistic direction of the entire project.

Working with you, we will create the conceptual design, appropriate to your style to achieve the effect that fully meets your expectations.

At the beginning of the designing process, we would like you to share with us your sources of inspiration (these can be websites, catalogues and trade magazines, including reference photos of interiors and arrangements).

The Design Development part includes drawing documentation, which explains the idea of the designed space:

  • functional floor plan that demonstrates suggested arrangements for certain structural components and their close relationship to one another. Usually, we will provide you with 3D models (birds-eye view of your space), which are supplemented, if necessary, by the floor plan (2D).
  • mood boards that present combinations of colour schemes, forms, textures and other pre-proposed interior design elements that determine the mood of individual rooms.

3. Contract Documents

This part of the design process is the development of the conceptual design into Contract Documents that are later given to contractors for bidding and construction.

The Contract Documents consist of 2D technical drawings, including room plans and views of individual walls (or sections), as well as drawings including guidelines for contractors for renovation, construction, installation and carpentry work.

The Contract Documents are supplemented with 3D renders which demonstrate the character of the designed interiors including accepted materials and furnishings.

At this stage, we will also provide you with information about the finishes and materials used in the project, as well as equipment and lighting. This information is placed on the drawing documentation and completed in the form of schedules.

4. Materials, Finishes and Equipment

Depending on the scope of work entrusted to us, we can order and supply selected materials and equipment.

As part of this service, we prepare inquiries for manufacturers and distributors of light fixtures, finishes, materials, carpentry, furniture, sanitary fittings, wallpapers, textiles and other home equipment. We also collect quotes and place orders.

We will care that orders are placed at the appropriate time and that the individual materials and home equipment are placed in their designated areas.

5. Construction Administration

The scope of work may also be extended to include the Construction Administration, which is carried out to check the progress and verify whether work is consistent with the approved design.

Construction Administration also includes our advice on all important performance issues, assistance in the coordination of individual works and customer support in communication with contractors.

Management is carried out by us in the form of Designer’s visits at the job site and in the form of telephone consultations or via other means of electronic communication.
